My name is Asha Prajapat, and today, as a popular and respected yoga teacher in Dubai working among elite wellness circles, I feel immense gratitude toward Swasti Yoga Center, which laid the foundation for my incredible journey in yoga.
My story began with curiosity, but through years of disciplined learning, heartfelt mentorship, and deep spiritual immersion, it evolved into a life purpose. I started with Level 1: Yoga Protocol Instructor, conducted by Swasti Yoga Center. Despite living in Dubai, I was able to join online sessions that were remarkably interactive, practical, and rooted in traditional yogic wisdom. The balance of ancient philosophy with modern scientific explanations made learning both enriching and accessible.
Encouraged by the depth of Level 1, I progressed to Level 2: Yoga Wellness Instructor, where I explored the therapeutic dimension of yoga. It helped me understand the practical application of yoga for common lifestyle diseases, women’s health, stress management, and more. These two levels created a strong foundation, not just technically but also spiritually. Swasti didn’t just teach me to teach yoga — it helped me live it.
Today, I am pursuing Level 3 and 4 – the Yoga Teacher and Master programs, the highest credentials in the Indian yogic system, and I’m proud to say that Swasti Yoga Center is the guiding light in this journey. The curriculum is comprehensive and deeply rooted in the Yogasutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Ayurveda. The faculty at Swasti – especially Dr. Vikas Chothe and Dr Shwetambari Chothe – provide profound mentorship. Their ability to simplify complex yogic concepts and guide us with humility is something rare and powerful.
International Platforms, Local Roots
Swasti Yoga Center not only provided academic excellence but also global exposure. I had the honor of being part of the organizing committee for two international conferences: one in Dubai and another in Georgia, under the theme “Yoga for LiFE” (Lifestyle for Environment). These conferences were a global call for promoting climate action through yoga, and I got the opportunity to interact with delegates, wellness experts, environmental leaders, and yogis from across the world.
The conferences were more than events — they were movements. Swasti introduced the concept of “Green Yoga” – integrating yoga with sustainable living. I had already completed my Green Yoga Instructor Program with Swasti, and these experiences further deepened my commitment to eco-conscious yogic living. Today, I proudly promote green yoga practices among my students in Dubai — using eco-friendly yoga mats, encouraging plant-based diets, promoting conscious consumption, and practicing mindful living.
Teaching the Future: Pregnancy and Kids Yoga
Another beautiful dimension Swasti added to my journey was Pregnancy Yoga and Kids Yoga Teacher Training, which I completed as specialized certifications. These courses were not just educational but profoundly impactful. The pregnancy yoga module helped me support expecting mothers with safe, customized practices, enhancing their emotional well-being and physical health. The kids’ yoga module was filled with joy, storytelling, creativity, and mindfulness, shaping young minds with yogic values and discipline.
These two areas opened new avenues in Dubai. I now conduct specialized yoga classes for women and children, which are highly sought after in elite wellness circles. It feels incredible to know that I am playing a role in shaping a healthier, more conscious generation.
Bridging Dubai and Pune: My Swasti Experience
What’s most remarkable is that I have learned both online and offline — from my home in Dubai and during visits to Swasti’s Pune campus. The online programs were flexible and well-structured, allowing working professionals like me to learn without compromise. The in-person sessions in Pune were spiritually immersive — from chanting in the early morning to hands-on practice with expert teachers and community events. I felt connected to the ancient lineage of yoga in a deeply personal way.
Final Reflections
Today, when people in Dubai appreciate my teaching, philosophy, and approach, I always tell them one thing:
“If you wish to walk the true path of yoga, walk it with a guru who not only teaches but embodies it — and for me, that was Swasti Yoga Center.”
My journey from a yoga student to an international yoga teacher, conference organizer, and advocate of green yoga is a testimony to what is possible with the right guidance. I owe my success to the Swasti family, who nurtured not just my career, but my inner transformation.
For anyone who wishes to walk this path — whether from India, Dubai, or anywhere in the world — Swasti Yoga Center is not just a school, it’s a sacred space for evolution.
