Course Overview:

This 200-hour Green Yoga Instructor Certification Course integrates the principles of yoga with sustainable lifestyle practices, including Mitahar (Sustainable Food), Vihar (Sustainable Routine), Achar (Sustainable Activities), Vichar (Sustainable Thinking), and Vyavahar (Work-Life Balance).

With a blend of traditional yoga training and practical knowledge of eco-friendly practices, this course prepares participants to lead holistic, sustainable lives and teach others to do the same.

Course Objectives:

  1. Build foundational knowledge of yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, and philosophy.
  2. Foster a sustainable lifestyle incorporating LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment) principles.
  3. Empower students to lead yoga classes that promote wellness and eco-consciousness.

  • Dual Certification:
    Earn a credential recognized by Swasti Yoga Center and Assistant Yoga Therapist Certificate from the esteemed Yoga Certification Board (YCB), Government of India, ensuring your qualification is reputable and valued.
  • Duration: 16 weeks (Part-Time) – Commit to 10-12 hours weekly over 16 weeks to fully develop as a budding yoga instructor with sustainability knowledge. (offers online courses)
  • Schedule: Theory Class: Once a week | Practical Yoga Class: Daily | Swadhyaya (Self-study): Daily 1 hour (Assistant Yoga Therapist level 1 videos)
  • Skill Level/ Eligibility: Completed Basic Yoga and Sustainability Program or Level 1 Yoga Protocol Instructor
  • Language Options: The course is conducted in English, with Hindi and Marathi available upon request.
