Yoga Foundation Course (YFC)

This foundation course for youths and adults will help beginners and yoga enthusiasts gain insight into traditional yoga, creating a strong foundation of yoga principles and practices.

  • For beginner youth (10th standard & up) and adults
  • Creates a strong foundation of yoga principles and practices in traditional yoga
  • Prerequisite for Level 1 TTC for those with no yoga experience
  • Duration: 2 months part time; 14 days full time/intensive

Certification exam conducted by Swasti Yoga Centre Certified individuals are eligible for Level 1 - Yoga Protocol Instructor

Required Personal Attributes: Individuals must have good communication and time management skills and the ability to understand the body language of participants. Individual must also have key qualities such as self-discipline, confidence, maturity, patience, compassion, active listening, empathetic, and English/Hindi language proficiency (depending on language of class enrolled)

  • 3. Requirement/ Eligibility:
  • a. For open candidates there are no eligibility criteria
  • b. For admission in the course it is suggested/ desired that the candidate should have passed 10th standard / secondary school certificate from a recognized board or equivalent. However,the Yoga Institutions can define their own eligibility.
  • 4. Brief Role Description: Certified Yoga Professionals can teach basics of Yoga for prevention of diseases and promotion of health. They can conduct Yoga practice /classes in parks, societies etc
  • 5. Minimum age: No age limit
  • 6. Personal Attributes: The job requires individual to have good communication skills, time management skills and ability to understand the body language of the trainees.
